Drive, return and tension pulleys are a belt conveyor’s most precious pieces. Nevertheless, they are subject to severe wear due to the higher kinetic energy load that they receive. The higher grade of wear and damage of these pulleys causes an also higher exchange rate of these pieces in comparison, for example, to supportive rollers and other movable components. However, it does not involve a total loss! Do not scrap the pulleys; it makes more sense to recycle them.
